Positions Available:
This position requires a high energy individual with a fun and vivid imagination. Being a team player is essential and must have ability to work well both independently and within a group. Candidates for this position must be effective speakers and have their own transportation. Position is non–paying and will require 10 hours per week. Position benefits to be discussed at interview. Duties will involve the following:
- Generate ideas for promotional and advertising materials such as brochures, including flyers, and prepares and presents information to internal and external sources.
- Perform outside marketing efforts to promote rink activities and events.
- Assists in designing, coordinating, and presenting marketing programs, and advertising campaigns; participates in identification and resolution of related problems.
- May plan or assist with planning monthly calendar, coordinating special events which may include all night skate sessions, holiday promotions, birthday party planning, in addition to coordinating outreach and community events.
- Conducts, or assists in conducting portions of market research activities to identify targeted populations, including potential customers and to identify the appropriate media for distribution of promotional information.
- Maintains accurate records and files including contacts within the community.
- Performs miscellaneous job–related duties as assigned.
